Never mentioned it here since I try to keep personal shit to a minimum, but I’ve had some medical problems for the past year or so. The main thing being strange lesions (or, “cuts”) and granulation tissue (or, “proud flesh”) forming on, under, and around both of my big toenails. They go deep, down to the nerve clusters behind the cuticle, and fuck do they hurt. They generally sting all the time, and whenever I’m on my feet is like walking on hot electrifying coals. Walking itself is also weird since I have to try and alleviate any sort of pressure to those areas (the majority of your balance comes from the big toe and the joints connected to it).
I went through a bunch of crap on trying to figure what the problem was and how to get rid of it. Nothing was working, so it looked like surgery would be involved but first they had to do a biopsy. From what we had known beforehand, everything was pointing to cancer. Results come back in, and we find out that shit’s benign, yo. That means not cancer. Which is, y’know, nice.
So now I’m undergoing treatment this month, followed by a reassessment (and possible surgery planning to cut out what’s left) in June. Huzzah.
Oh right. I guess I should mention that progress on the game sorta stalled. Whoops.

Hey man hope you get to feelin better. I did a search for Uninvited fangames after a couple of years and finally somebody did it! I haven’t got to play your game yet but have you ever considered an Uninvited Fangame in the classic style of point and click? There are 2d and 3d options available and some free game makers out there that are made specifically for point and click games.
Dude if you wanna make this happen let me know, if you feel better. I have intermediate skills at spriting and have spent more than 6 years creating music with FL Studio. I have really good story telling abilities and I’m well organized. Hope I hear from ya, or if you know any other developers out there who wanna help me please show me the way.
Uninvited is a hidden gem among the world of horror games. If we manage to capture it’s essence and mood again we’ll be sure to horrify the realm of man. If you accept. mwahaha

I haven’t actually finished the Uninvited project as of yet. It’s still a WiP unfortunately. I have considered a more traditional point ‘n click style for a fangame, but I’m still sticking with my decision here. Mainly because this is a project to familiarize myself with a program in-and-out first with everything else being second. That, and I’ve always been curious how it’d look if presented as a regular top-down RPG. So for now, I’ll have to decline your offer.
If you’re interested though, I did a remake of Shadowgate as well. That one’s completely finished (though admittedly I feel like I’ll probably go back to it and touch it up again sooner or later) and would give you a bit of an insight as to how Uninvited will turn out. Sort of.
