Maybe as an underwater version of the fight, or a water bonus stage. Added in an 8-bit part as it felt like it fit. Felt bubbly.<\/p>\n<p>Ragnarok Canyon (Length 4:23)<br \/>\nGame: Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: I kept the distortion guitar and general theme, but added some 8-bit stuff. I liked the blend of styles, trying to make it a bit more fantasy feeling I guess.<\/p>\n<p>The Dark Tower (Length 3:03)<br \/>\nGame: Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: As the last track to do, I wanted to try a Violin focused medley for this faster paced track.<\/p>\n<p>Forest of Mystery (Length 2:03)<br \/>\nGame: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: I always liked this version of the Lost Woods more than the one later found in Ocarina. The one there may be more catchy, but I always found that this one better captured the tone of playful wonder. So I tried my hand at doing the same with this mix.<\/p>\n<p>Kakariko Village (Length 3:14)<br \/>\nGame: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: A calm track. Was experimenting with how soothing a track I could make. This paved the way for the Peaceful Days mix.<\/p>\n<p>Auria, City of Gold (Length 2:12)<br \/>\nGame: Breath of Fire (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: I thought it was criminal that there were hardly any remixes of BoF stuff. So I tried making this. This one has me actually playing both of the piano. Also, apparently you can hear my shit eating grin while I&#8217;m playing.<\/p>\n<p>Decadence of God (Length 3:14)<br \/>\nGame: Breath of Fire II (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: I wanted to try my hand at one of those old holy churchy type themes with the choir sound and all. This was my attempt.<\/p>\n<p>Peaceful Days (Length 2:30)<br \/>\nGame: Chrono Trigger (SNES)<br \/>\nSy Notes: This, U.N Owen, and Auria are probably the three tracks I put the most effort in. I really tried to capture that tranquil feeling of a pleasant sunny day in this track. I really like how this one turned out. Maybe you will to.<\/p>\n<p>Flight of the Zinger (Length 3:44)<br \/>\nGame: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy&#8217;s Kong Quest<br \/>\nSy Notes: This was purely done as a sort of piano practice for me. The piano is played by me to accompany the few other instruments. I made this one to get used to piano in preparation for making the Auria mix.<\/p>\n<p>U.N. Owen Was Her (Length 2:28)<br \/>\nGame: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil<br \/>\nSy Notes: I don&#8217;t actually know what caused me to do this one. I was experimenting with FamiSynth, and after making a couple tracks solely with it, I wanted to try something where an 8bit instrument was just one part of a bigger set. So I made this.<\/p>\n<p>Rocket 8bit Corner (Length 1:14)<br \/>\nGame: Pokemon Red\/Blue Version<br \/>\nSy Notes: The aforementioned FamiSynth experiments resulted in me trying to make this mix. I just tried to replicate it best I could.<\/p>\n<p>8bit Final Race (Length 1:39)<br \/>\nGame: Top Gear<br \/>\nSy Notes: After getting comfortable with it, I tried making a more complicated track.
